Is SEO hard or easy?…

Is SEO hard or easy? The question of whether SEO is difficult or not, can be answered quite simply. The post I made yesterday regarding the middle tail can be found by simply entering the following search in the Google: “middle tail”. Do a search on that, and you’ll find that I’m probably still in the number one position even though I posted that blog post just yesterday. This shows how simple - how incredibly easy - it is to do SEO if you’ve got the right pieces in place. It’s obvious that’s exactly what I have. So go ahead and do that search. Talk to you tomorrow. listen

Getting the middle tail…

Getting the middle tail
We know that there’s a long tail and we know that there’s a short tale when it comes to search engine ranking. The middle tail are those terms that possess enough oomph to drive considerable amounts of traffic to your website. The short tail could drive tons of traffic but the term is so hard to get and the long tail don’t drive any traffic at all but you can make sure that you get listed on the first page of Google, maybe even the top reasonable. The middle tail is the sweet spot of the terms because it’s that term that is able to drive a fair amount of traffic but does require extensive search engine optimization. So if you wanna really succeed at driving traffic to your website, shoot for the middle tail! listen.

This is my second Jott today…

This is my second Jott today. Maybe I’m trying to make up for the fact that I said in my recent [blog] that I was gonna jott every single day. What I really meant is that I was gonna jott on weekdays (on business days) that I’m in the office, I wake up at 5:00 o’clock in the morning and I’m in the office by 6:00 o’clock just so I can provide useful information like you’re getting right here, my goal through this jott [blog] is to create a place where people come to better understand how to get more traffic, that’s my job that’s my interest it’s actually kind of an avocational interest for me and I have a lot more interests that maybe if you poke around you’ll find what those are, I’ll keep that a little secret in that I don’t wanna muddy the waters and have people think that this isn’t important ’cause it is important, it’s important because internet’s a new and exciting way to communicate with the world.
Thanks for listening talk to you soon. listen

What is RankCamp?

What is RankCamp? At first glance, RankCamp seems like it’s a site pushing various consumer products like the Nintendo Wii, MacBook Air, or other products. but in reality RankCamp is a testing site for traffic creation. My name is Dan Wigner and I’m a professional search engine optimizer. I’m a specialist and I actually have a full time job working in search engine optimization for a national career site company. I help them get their client’s sites ranked in the top of search engines like Google and Yahoo! It’s actually a very interesting job and I enjoy it, but I also have a passion for teaching other people how to use the techniques that I have developed and that’s really what’s this is about ….. listen

MySpace Still Hot!

Look at these numbers:
Top Ten Searches 12/07

Myspace not only holds #1, but #3 and #6 as well. In total Myspace gets 1.18% of all searches - that’s 1 out of almost every 98 searches! To me that’s totally freaky.
Wikipedia: According to Alexa Internet, MySpace is currently the world’s sixth most popular English-language website and the sixth most popular website in any language,[2] and the third most popular website in the United States, though it has topped the chart on various weeks.[3] The service gradually gained more popularity than similar websites to achieve nearly 80% of visits to online social networking websites.[3]

MySpace has several localized versions of it’s social community. Here’s the list:

Sites currently offered are:
